There's always been a divide in America, whether it's race, culture, religion and/or politics. Politicians and the media/news outlets are good at utilizing that divide for entertainment factor and to generate revenue.

Democrats engage all sorts of groups and different types of people. IMO as an independent, they may not be "concerned" but they play the game like they are concerned. The GOP doesn't do that with black people on any wide scale and especially not on the national scale.

I just love how democrats always call black republicans a token black. but the democrats also love to forget that it was their party that had enslaved blacks until they were freed and that it was republicans that freed them.
