He applied his engineering by designing aviation parts.

Global warming deniers can't attack the science behind climate change, so they attack the messengers and make everything political. It doesn't matter if only 1% of scientists stand behind the not human created global warming. Even one of their top scientists say humans contribute at least some to global warming. Instead they listen to the crap spewed by some right wing politicians who have obvious biased opinions and take random samples of facts and "create" their own science. These are the same people who want to dismantle the EPA and think pollution regulations are unnecessary. If we had listened to the right wing over the decades every major American city would have smog like Beijing. Luckily we didn't and we have pollution regulations.

It looks as though ANYBODY can know as much about science as as phony Bill.

"Bill Nye the Science Guy Main article: Bill Nye the Science Guy
Nye began his professional entertainment career as a writer/actor on a local sketch comedy television show in Seattle, Washington, called Almost Live!. The host of the show, Ross Shafer, suggested he do some scientific demonstrations in a six-minute segment, and take on the nickname "The Science Guy".[13] His other main recurring role on Almost Live! was as Speedwalker, a speedwalking Seattle superhero."

You have been "Gubered"
What about BEFORE he began his professional entertainment career? What did he study in college? What careers did he pursue before a professional entertainment career?

What's really going on here is Palin isn't capable of framing an intelligent argument against climate change so she has to lower herself and use an ad hominem attack against Nye.
Aren't you forgetting the little Governor of a state thingy?

Well, in this case he is misrepresenting himself as a climate scientist. He is not one.

Even NASA never accepted him......but it seems he can fool most of you, by being an unknown actor.

In this article Bill Maher has Bill Nye explain to Republicans about Science........his answer "it's not the Bible" is he tossing out Democrats who believe the Bible? If this is an intelligent thought, than no wonder people like you believe this man is a scientist.

This is good.......Bill Maher Gets Bill Nye to Explain Science to Republicans | Mediaite
Ultimately, Nye’s point was that the U.S. needs to spend more on science education if we want to compete in the world. “We spend $1.5 billion dollars on planetary science” every year in this country. “How long does it take to spend $1.5 billion dollars in Afghanistan, 20 minutes, half an hour?”

Why doesn't Nye suggest 'war' causes destruction of the world? Looks like the man is in need of money every year.....to explore the planet Mars......have you heard he believes in Martins? Palin should have added this man is even more scary then President Obama.
