Great! Every time I spend a twenty I get to be reminded of how much my country sucks.
How ironic it is that former president of the United States, Andrew Jackson, who owned up to 300 slaves, image will be removed from the $20 dollar bill, in lieu of sister Harriet Tubman, who illegally led slaves into freedom. #REDEMPTION ✊🏿❤️
It's useless empty symbolism and a colossal waste of resources to please a handful of political activists that won't mean a dang thing to 90% of the folks that use cash.
Good decision by the fed. I'm pretty sure Andrew Jackson would have told the fed to go screw themselves if he had a say on whether or not he would be put on federal currency.
I guess getting a female on the money was of paramount importance, it didn't matter that so many people are out of work or just scraping by, they have to dump all that money into a re-design of a bill folks actually use to push an agenda.

Get a life.
For what it is worth, I don't believe the schedule for redesigning the $20 has actually changed. They will add Harriet Tubman's image when they would have redesigned the $20 for security purposes anyway. I don't see how the cost will be any different doing the redesign with one person's image over another.
While I would've been happy with a number of people, I say great choice! Harriet Tubman, the "Moses of her People," was as brave and bold as any. And a true patriot at that. To those who can't stand having Jackson (note, I was against having Hamilton removed) removed, I don't gloat and respect your view. I am not one of those people who is of the view that Jackson should be removed because of his politics, the fact that he owned slaves, etc. While not things that I agree with, I'm also not in favor of whitewashing history. One of the great things about our country is that, for all of its past and present ills (and which country is without?), we have been able to endure and advance throughout time.

Just your little corner of it.
