The emancipation of women has been under way for over two centuries, is by far the greatest societal change of our times, and is unstoppable.

But the oversimplification and stereotyping by a radical fringe, aimed at those with a limited perspective, or unable to focus over a longer time frame, and scapegoating the mature males, of every racial and social group, who were formerly looked to for leadership, is an example of political pandering at its lowest.

I know I'm going off on a tangent but this thread is exemplifying a serious issue in this country.

Education is vital, but it cannot be "censored" by a high-placed ideological faction which uses a government-backed union monopoly to turn our classrooms into centers of indoctrination.

Default When and how did the liberalism and political correctness started in the U.S. and progressed into absurdity?

Progressed into absurdity? Political correctness was born into absurdity.

Postmodernism was the antecedent to political correctness in America.

Political correctness was devised to defend the indefensible.
