"The crowd" follows Obama- he's been elected twice. The crowd is ignorant and/or apathetic. I don't choose to follow them.

Democrats do not practice "supply side/trickle down economics", and since they will not lower taxes on the ultra wealthy and large corporations (they will add MUCH LESS MONEY to our national debt.)

Any Research institution should be able to purchase with its own funds.
Any research institution may very well use their own funds to buy it...from the US government. So see you should be glad because the government is acting like a business. They have gone to a manufacturer and purchased a product. Now, they will act like a retailer and sell it in smaller quantities to others.
Isn't that what the right is always stamping their feet about and pouting over?
