There are no good cops. They all lie, they sit silent while their peers break the rules and they all break the very laws they hold us accountable for.

Let it work itself out like the Free Market.
Everything will work out in the end.......

There is no reason why we have to settle for either.

Absolutely no.

Every American ought to stand up for justice for all Americans.

Instead of constantly beating the drums of war, we all ought to be fixing what's wrong with our own justice system.

Apply, get through the background investigation, get through the academy, get through FTO, make rank, advance through said ranks until you make brass, then initiate change. Go for it, or would you rather sit here and complain? Go do it.

Nice post. Way to marginalize all police as a gang.

I guess critical thinking skills aren't your strong suit.

I just had flashbacks to The Departed, where Matt Damon infiltrates the Boston police while working for the Irish mafia...except in this case you want someone to infiltrate the state mafia as a good guy and try to make it serve the citizens instead of harass them (which is what their entire job is).

It's not that all police have bad intentions, but they're a gang by definition. The only difference is that people think the police are a "legitimate" gang, whereas a street gang doesn't have any moral legitimacy to do what they do, but that's false. Neither is legitimate.

I know that's where a lot of people begin to disagree with me, but it's provably true.
