Um...The kid said the home intruder "cried like a baby?" So? Liberals sure get upset over the darndest things--not that I expect them to empathize with an 11-year-old kid encountering an intruder in his own damn home.... That is definitely NOT where their sympathy lies.

The only problem with this is that it took eleven shots to take down the perp. The kid needs more practice.

Or this could have happened to the kid had he not shot the intruder:

Meh. I think if you're going to have guns in the house, gun safety, and the proper use of firearms should be taught as early as possible.

The liberals are saying this,

"Homes with guns are a dozen times (12x) more likely to have household members or guests killed or injured by the weapon than by an intruder."

"The odds are much greater that the gun will be used against you or a loved one than that it will be used against an armed assailant or an intruder."

"Most adolescent suicides are committed by youths at home who used the family gun obtained from home."

But republicans refuse to take action and pass laws that will stop the unwanted gun deaths, and while republicans take no action the 67% of Americans who do not own guns are passing tougher gun laws all over America (recently over half of all Americans got tougher gun laws enforced on them.)

The corporate republican party does not care about America's gun rights, instead they care about getting gun owners to vote republican (and vote for corporate/supply side tax cuts.)

Gun ownership rates have been going down since the 1970's, 67% of Americans do not own a gun, and tougher gun laws are being passed all over America, and whats the republican response? It is to oppose any new gun regulations after madmen kill children in schools and movie theaters with assault weapons.

If gun owners would work with democrats, then gun regulations could be passed that could forever protect America's gun culture. But instead gun owners vote republican (while America's gun ownership, gun rights, and gun culture is disappearing all around us.)

There's a flame coming to burn down America's entire gun culture, and the republicans are throwing gasoline on it.

If most of post #35 is outright lies, then you should be able to expose at least (1) lie.

Could you please point one out ???

You can't even tell???

For example, "Possessing a gun makes you less safe not more safe." Most of the guns used in crimes are illegally obtained. Mixing legally owned firearms with illegally owned is an outright lie!

The statistics from FBI uniformed crime report has proven that the legal gun owners are 8 times less likely to commit any crime than the general public. That's just a cold and hard fact.

How is it even remotely possible that legally owning a gun would put you in danger?
