The media has constantly been covering Donald Trump, giving Trump much more airtime than every other candidate. That's a horrible way to bring him down. Consistently showing the guy on TV is not going to hurt him.

That pretty much confirms the fact that he wants to ban all Muslims from entering the US for a period of time. More people have died in the USA from right wing extremist terrorists than Muslim terrorists, we shouldn't abandon our values just cause we're scared of a extremist group in Syria. The Bill of Rights guarantees freedom of religion, banning all Muslims is exactly the type of thing that our founding fathers were trying to avoid.

No, it is not war, it is keeping good economic relations with other countries some still seen by less aware as enemies. Trump's past attitude towards Mexico is bad for business; we trade greatly with Mexico and do not need problems. Same with China, the US depends on China for a good economy. Trump seems too nationalistic for our global economy.

The advent of nuclear weapons on missiles, (cruise, SLBM or ICBM) ended all those constitutional niceties like seeking a Declaration of War from the US Congress. A submarine launched cruise or SLBM launched from off the Eastern Seaboard would strike the nations Capital in only a few minutes. The call from the Oval Office to the Speakers Office or the Senate Majority leader asking for a Declaration of Hostilities might not even be finished before their time would have run out and Washington obliterated . Now this contingency is why we had an alternative National Command Authority (usually a junior General Officer (1 star)) flying somewhere over the USA or Canada able without need to get authorization from Washington to employ remaining nuclear forces in a punishing retaliation. My answer is the President can issue valid go codes for any nuclear strike in the Single Integrated Operational Plan valid at that time night or day. The only question is once the codes have been issued how many of the units operating nuclear strike forces comply. I think enough would comply to make it a very bad day for mankind.
