A man went to a designated meeting spot in Brockton, Mass. for what he thought would be the purchase of a dirt bike. When he arrived, the person with whom he had been communicating drew what looked like a gun and attempted to rob him. A struggle ensued. At some point the man retrieved a 9-mm handgun from his vehicle and shot the robber.
Good guys with guns, aka yahoos who see trouble around every corner, should NOT try to protect me. That's help I can do without.
Around every corner? Well then, show us these links where you say this happens around every corner...you should be able to provide at least 10 links.....
It looks like college professors in Tennessee will soon be able to bring concealed weapons on campus. Unfortunately, students won't be able to exercise their 2nd Amendment rights at school just yet, but this is a step in the right direction. I hope the state soon allows other educators, say Kindergarten teachers, to bring concealed weapons to work too.
Good armed school employees have stopped mass shooters in the past, who knows how many lives might have been saved if the anti gun nut liberals hadn't gotten "gun free zones" enforced at schools.
I have no idea why everybody is making such a big deal about adults that can carry! Unless we don't trust today's adults as much as we trusted our kids fifty years ago.
Everybody isn't making a big deal out of it, loud, self righteous, liberal anti gun nuts terrified of an inanimate object are.
Teachers in Israel carry guns. They have had 8 children die in school shootings in the last few years. Our schools are "gun-free zones", we have had 343 children die in school shootings in the same period of time.

Actually that is not a good comparison. Our population is about 319 million and theirs is about 8 million. When you factor in the population differences; the death rates are fairly similar. Ours is only slightly higher than Israel's.
I don't mean to distract from your argument; I am on your side.
My seatbelt isn't capable of killing somebody else.
