Yes, there are some token Black Republican candidates out there...and they seem to almost always lose at the party level.
Well, with over 90% of blacks being Democrat there's not exactly a big selection for the Rep to choose from

I take it US History was one of the subjects you slept through in school.

So it's like saying "the secret slave history of the United States". It wasn't a secret. And it's not true today.

LOL! Did you just say that with a straight face?

That's hilarious!

Yeah, it's more like the Republicans begged them all to come over.

Who is it that continues to tell everyone that blacks are too stupid to secure an ID?

My comment is very germane to the thread. It's a rebuttal comment in regards to racism against blacks by the Democratic party. I really don't understand why that baffles you???

The Democratic Party. The same party that tells them they can't get a job without government help in the form of Affirmative Action. Or that they can't make it into college without government help.

The Democratic Party constantly underestimates blacks, selling them short and relegating them to second class status. In fact, the party would fail without assuming that blacks just can't do it without a government Nanny holding their hand.

Yeah! Everyone remembers when Republicans sent out the call... "Calling all racists who don't want to be Democrats anymore!"

Stop making things up.

Nobody's making it up. Southern dixiecrats were unhappy with the DNC, and the Rs said come on over here, the water's fine.

Birth of the Southern Strategy - Bloomberg

Parties commonly try to appeal to the disaffected voters of another party. They'd be too dumb to live if they didn't, it happens all the time.

the left leaning school system has wisely omitted this from the curriculum

the have not discussed the democrats previous pro-slavery position in over 40 years

you will also not find anything linking the democrats to antisemitism or their early support for the third Reich or the Nazi party..... this has long been deleted from textbooks here in the US.... but well documented
