Indifference by the masses. Who gives a **** when everything's going good? Now we're in a bad situation and people care.

I know the country has many problems and there lot of Political Turmoil and major Gridlock in Washington but after last night I got to wondering how did we get to this point in our Country in our current state and political atmosphere? What went wrong? what led us down this path?

I am like you, I can not for the life of me understand why so many people are so unhappy ! What can be so horrible in their lives that they are ready to throw the baby out with the bath water ? Never, in my wildest dreams, would I have ever thought people would be so upset that they would actually consider Donald Trump as their savior out of whatever mess they perceive we are in.

Personally, I am happy as a clam. I have a job, have expendable income, have no real complaints about the job Washington is doing, and see the future as pretty bright. But there seems to be just so much hatred and discontent others are feeling. Very confusing.

It is the natural evolution of a country.

As a country gets more and more powerful and successful.....the government gets more and more corrupt and power-mad.

I really think there is more and more people like me, they see that this government and country cannot be reformed, we are on the downside.....best thing to do is accept this fact and prepare for the worst.

The democrats are turning the greatest country into a third world country.

The middle class is shrinking, jobs are leaving, we have cheap labor bringing down wages, and the leaders are now sending the illegals to college on our dime to bring down wages in the white collar sector..

we are doomed by the rich who don't care about Americans.. cheap labor, no job growth , Nafta sending jobs to Mexico, influx of illegals , inflation hitting Americans in their pockets,

Obamacare increasing medical care because of the free health care given to cheap labor illegal immigrants.. it has to stop..

we are in debt to our eyeballs, bailouts , government printing money, too much money creating high food costs, high rent costs, and the democrats are smart.. they know they will get the vote because everyone will need to get into the cheese line for a slice. Dems want us to be a third world country to depend on the handouts and control the people and keep them dirt poor.

And the dumb Republicans don't care.

Money and power are the forces that rule this world.

The people are always manipulated and controlled by their leaders. Every once in a while, when it becomes obvious and intolerable, the people may tire of it, but they can in almost every case be suppressed.

For the most part, Trump is a revulsion against globalism, and everything it entails.
