Apparently he says he saw multiple IP addresses from other countries that have already accessed the server.. The government says nobody accessed it... it seems they lied, probably trying to find the people who accessed the server without alerting them that they were looking for those people... Hillary is going to be indicted...
Quote from the article: For Lazar, a plea agreement where he cooperates in exchange for a reduced sentence would be advantageous. He told Fox News he has nothing to hide and wants to cooperate with the U.S. government, adding that he has hidden two gigabytes of data that is “too hot” and “it is a matter of national security.”
Guess he is cooperating and has things to say. He better watch his back in prison and not have an "unfortunate" accident.

According to Romanian news outlets, the classified data he obtained is held by more than one source as insurance to reduce or eliminate his sentence (and to protect him).
I don't see why they don't offer him immunity, especially since it doesn't appear he transferred that data to foreign powers.

He could obtain that information by looking at the access logs if he had full access to the server. That's not something that would have been turned over by Hillary with her original dump of emails. There is slim possibility those logs still exist or were recovered, that depends on what transpired with the original server and how it was configured etc.
I suspect the protocols for how this will be handled have already been hammered out with the DOJ and credible stories have already been drafted by the NYT and WaPo One or two of her aides will take the rap, get a slap on the wrist and in a year or two resurface working for a trusted Clinton ally. She'll apologize for her aides poor judgement and reassure the country it won't happen again. Democrats don't care, as long as she can run they're voting for her.
We'll never find out what really happened.
