The US military is widely regarded as being one of the more racially progressive bastions in the US.

It's going to be funny watching people go after them for being "racist" if the people in the picture violated one of their policies.

To me, it's an internal matter and I'm sure West Point will deal with it. <shrug>

THAT is telling of racial bias.

My "black" fist is raised right now.
It's completely reasonable to compare the 2 groups, especially the groups of today which are nothing like the groups they once were decades ago. That comparison isn't racially biased, it's just common sense and you clearly don't like it.

My white middle finger is pointed in your general direction.

Back in the 1930's , the clenched fist was the international symbol of the communist movement, and it was all ways the LEFT fist that was clenched and raised straight up , while the fascist salute was the RIGHT hand raised at a 45 degree angle upwards.

Leftists and right wingers. Even an illiterate can tell the difference between a left hand and a right hand, right ? The Black Panthers co-opted the practice, from the communists. It was a way to give the finger to the mainstream body of American people. Which was their entire ideology.

Obvious political demonstrations by military cadets ( or any other service members ) while in uniform is contrary to the US military code of justice rules. I know that , and I am a Canadian.

Thank you. People should learn to keep it simple. Really nothing to "discuss".

Racist? No. Investigating to see if it's tied to a political movement is justified. If it is, they'll be punished. If it's not, it will be dismissed and they'll go about their careers.
