OMG that's funny. I found my self a little offended too, but only a little. The commentator was absolutely correct that John Clease and Charlie Chaplain would/should have been arrested for their satirical skits about Hitler and the Nazis.

William Wallace suffered trial by high ordeal and was quarters and the pieces sent to the four quarters of Britain to show what defiance of Edward I (Longshanks) would get you. In 1314 Robert the Bruce of Clan Stewart lead a Scots Army at Bannockburn and beat the forces of Longshanks son Edward II. Centuries later one of his Stewart descendents assumed the English throne and in 1703 the crowns of England and Scotland were united creating the United Kingdom of England Scotland and Wales.
