Not just on this arena. The Feds aren't supposed to be in our schools, per the 10th amendment. Has anyone else noticed that the more the Feds stick their dirty little fingers in the schools the worse the schools do?

Complete nonsense. Why is this even being discussed? We're nearly 20 Trillion dollars in debt, the middle east is in shambles, Iran, North Korea, China and Russia are slapping us in the face on a regular basis, ISIS is growing and planning their next mass attack, Our borders are like swiss cheese, the economy is barely moving and the Obama administration is going to spend their time and effort lecturing Americans on which bathroom they can use?

Is this not maddening? Get that moron and his administration out of the white house!!!!!

Restore Sanity to America - TRUMP 2016!

The federal government will never actually do that. Why not? Literally millions of poor kids would starve if they didn't get federally funded free breakfast, lunch, and sometimes even dinner at schools. Anyone think Obama wants that on his hands?

OTOH, letting poor kids starve could be Obama's "legacy." Just sayin'...

This is a gift to the Trump campaign.

All Trump has to do is say, I don`t think it`s a good idea.

Let Hillary try to sell this crap to America.

Poll Shows The Majority Of Americans Oppose Transgender People Using Preferred Bathroom
Yep:
Quote:
"Most Americans (59 percent) aren't comfortable with the idea of transgender students picking which bathroom or locker room to use, and think they should use the facilities of the gender they were born as, while 26 percent think they should be allowed to use the bathrooms and locker rooms of their preferred gender.

...Just 23 percent of Americans age 30 and older think transgender students should be able to pick which facilities to use, compared to 35 percent of Americans under 30"
CBS News Poll: Transgender kids and school bathrooms/locker rooms - CBS News

Just look at the response of those old enough to have kids... 77% of the age 30+ population doesn't want transgenders to be able to "choose" which facilities (men's/boys' or women's/girls') to use.

Obama is one of the worst presidents ever.
He's sent race relations into the crapper and now he's pandering to the ultra far left with these silly bathroom laws.
I can't wait until he's gone....

We should trust that our government has the right priorities in education; or anything else? Like, how to spend taxes on healthcare; subsidies to the citizenry, subsidies to health insurers to guarantee a certain level of profitability?

Yeah. Right?

So this really sets up some states for a legal conundrum if they do not want to be penalized for not following Obama's decree. Since this decree applies to locker rooms and showers, one issue which has not been discussed is the indecent exposure laws and how this could impact the schools and/or students. In some states, indecent exposure laws are pretty broadly defined. For example, in Pennsylvania indecent exposure is simply exposing genitalia that would cause alarm to another (not a far fetched result of a biological male showering with biological females). Since this is not law Obama has pushed down but policy via federal extortion, schools must now decide to risk facilitating breaking their state/town laws or losing federal education funds. Not well thought out at all by the Obama administration.
