Last December, Gil Parker Payne spotted a Muslim woman wearing a hijab on a Southwest Airlines flight from Chicago to Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Payne, who was seated several rows behind the woman, walked up the aisle towards her while the plane was still in flight, stopped next to her seat, and said, “Take it off! This is America!” When she didn’t follow his orders, he proceeded to pull her hijab all the way off, leaving the woman’s head exposed.
He did plea guilty when this was taken to court, so there's a chance he knows he did something wrong. Perhaps the stress of the flight made him act irrationally. Not an excuse, but a possible explanation. Or maybe he proudly plead guilty because he believed himself to be a martyr. Regardless, what he did was stupid and hilariously ironic when you actually think about it.
Thats going too far, but I dont get why Muslims want to live here.
Why do you want to live here? Probably about the same reason many Muslims do.

On the other hand, I don't understand why these women would opt to put on this crazy stuff when they can easily say no.
Because they don't want to say no? It's not for me (nor, for that matter, is covering my elbows, knees and, eventually when I'm married hair, that is traditional of stricter interpretations of Judaism), but who am I to judge? I know Muslim and Jewish women alike who choose to cover their hair. I also know Muslim and Jewish women who do not. Choice - it's a beautiful thing.
Nobody should force others to do so. However I think hijab should be discouraged, and burqa should be banned.
