Young people regardless of their origin need to be taught the value of work, until they are doing something they really want to do for years to come. The soft skills need to be taught for any job or career that they have!

I can't believe people actually take those jobs and stay for very long. Our economy has far too many of these and not enough decent paying jobs. I feel sorry for a lot of the younger folks, with the poor availability of good jobs.

Without certification or a degree, they will be left with these jobs you speak of or no job at all!

Um.. the YOUNG PEOPLE NEED JOB OPPORTUNITIES segment.

Given 2 people, side by side, one 18, the others 40.. I'm hiring the 40 year old since I can get them both at the same wage since liberals want to make it that way.

I grew up in Tennessee. The economy remains so bad that adults are taking the serving, retail, and other junk jobs. What economy there was has been hollowed out and is basically nonexistent now.

What federal regulations stop startup businesses?

Obama has tried to give small businesses both tax cuts and lending aid, but republicans stopped those bills from passing.

It's just the typical whine of failures. They lack the introspection necessary to understand why they actually failed, so they just blame the government or Mexicans or whoever or whatever lets them avoid taking responsibility for their own situation.

And where does the government get the money? Stealing it from other tax payers.

Yes, when are people going to realize that the government can't create jobs? Jobs come into existence because there is a need for something to be done. Government just gets in the way. Or they do sometimes create jobs that don't need to be done and its stupid.

Congratulations on your lobotomy. Not that you'd take the time to read it, but here's a clue.

So the US gov allows the low skilled labor market to be flooded, then turns around and spends money to assist those impacted by this. Great job!

I do not know too many young people today who will shovel s**t or pick berries........ they think it is below them or too hard............hear that millennials???
