Why else do you think 44% of adult food stamp recipients are obese, compared to 33% of poor adults who have chosen to NOT get food stamps, and 32% of those who earn too much to qualify for food stamps?

Doctors and lawyers kids qualify for free lunches here now. We threw out one board member over this (and other things) during the elections a couple weeks ago BUT all the same, they can afford a new BMW and get free lunches.
Our tax dollars at work, to make sure this needy kid gets punished for being in need...or something. The court costs, administrative costs, the school costs, etc...totally worth the $0.65 pint of milk that he was entitled to on the free school lunch program anyway.
And let's make sure he starts the path early on to having a criminal record so that he won't ever be able to get a good job again.
Then, let's scratch our heads and wonder why kids in situations like these grow up to go on welfare or lead a life of crime.

Ffs they become obess because ramen costs .20 cents and an apple costs between .75 cents to over 1.00, even on sale. You don't wanna tread this water with me, my friend. Guess who does the grocery shopping in my house? Am I gonna spend $6 on grapes that will last as a snack for 2-3 days or am I gonna get three pounds of pork that will make 2-3 dinners? Ten pounds of rice that will last nearly a month or veggies with most meals?
They're getting fat because they survive on 88 cent cans of raviolis and chips from the dollar store, not cos they're eating well on "your dime".
