This is what most people aren't understanding. The USA-R states may not have the wealth generation of the USA-D's, but they produce almost everything the USA-D's need to survive. California is an exception, but the food producers certainly aren't living in LA or San Francisco.


Right now, it's a symbiotic relationship, as much as we might grumble about it. If it all boils down to pure survival, though, the USA-R is where I'd choose to be.
