China's on the verge of a very serious economic crisis that will drag down the entire world, including us. Which could lead to another world war.

I don't want to have to wear a mask because the air is so dirty. China stinks and so does Mexico.

My uncle in China owns mansions and factories. 25 years ago, he was just a policeman working for a prison. He quit his job and started a business, and became rich from very low ground.

Advanced education in China is affordable even for poor farmers. In top universities, you can see a lot of students from dirt poor families. They will find a good job after graduation, or even come to the US, either way with no debt.
How many poor students can you see in Harvard and Yale? The social mobility in the US is much more difficult than in China.

I think China has social mobility for the academically gifted but not so much for others.

We're not becoming communist, socialist, or any other term right-wingers throw out there. We're remaining corporatist.

They're even choosing the battlefield. The second they came out with the nine dash line nonsense was when I recognized that they really were going to try and take on their neighbors in a military conflict. I thought they would not expand it to include a fight with the US, but with their current actions I expect conflict resulting in death within 12 months or less. And it really does come down to their economic crisis.

It stifles freedom. Also, the further you get from the metro areas the more 3rd world it gets. I don't consider that to be a country that is functioning highly.

Well yeah, 40+ years ago just about everyone in China was very poor, right? So how could it be otherwise?
