Some ukrainian "patriots" with their narrow-minded ideas don't realize that in this case Ukraine will die much faster. But good news is that it's impossible to squeeze Russia into a corner at all.
Wishing away one hegemony only creates a vacuum for another to enter.
Don't forget, there are international laws, there is UN etc.. And all the world know very well what particular country broke these laws very often with some plausible pretext totally ignoring the UN. I don't think that some other state will/can do the same if this self-appointed "world policeman" get retired.
America is the great country, with probably the most nice people in the world. I really love America too. But the US foreign policy is a crime, mostly. It is bloodthirstiness, impudence, lies, double standards and hypocrisy, all mixed and shaked in one bottle.
America can help more its citizens and other countries being squeezed by China right now if it imposes punitive tariffs on Chinese imports. that's the best defense against China
That's what I love about all those free trade "economists" who calculate the cost of a trip without including flying back. Expense out the cost of having to defend against China and lets see how much it costs. Then we keep the Persian Gulf et al open so Japan can have cheap fuel to complete with our auto industry and so on.

Germany was more than capable both to defend itself and to attack back then, there is no reason it should not fend for itself now. And the US should learn to mind its own business.

And don't try to compare today's Germany to the 1930's.
