That is all Republican know how to do -- lie. Well, lie, collect welfare, get free abortions, get free Obamacare, government-paid sex change operations, disability, food stamps, Bush phones and any "gimme" from the feds. I've seen Republicans at the grocery store on the 1st of the month with their Mercedes parked outside as they load up on ribeye steaks and sugar drinks. And it's been that way since Ronnie was in office. Truly, they act like welfare Queens.
First I don't see how it "cost" anything over and above the salaries which would have been paid either way.
Second, if you want to put a cost on investigations, I wonder what the "cost" was for the failed valerie plame case?

It's quite revealing that uniformed top brass at the apolitical Pentagon are tiring of the wacky, desperate demands of Gowdy and his witch doctors and ankle-biters. And I would agree: we are fighting "ISIS AP" and engaged in intensive efforts to wipe out global terrorism. I think the American people would rather see our military focus undistracted on killing enemies than doing political tap dances for the primary allies of ISIS, which to say "ISIS in America," aka the GOP.
