Gowdy is not running for re-election - he used to harbor dreams of becoming a judge, but he's certainly had to abandon that. Sucked dry and cast aside by the Republican machine - I almost hope they throw him a bone of sorts.

As Dane pointed out, Benghazi wasn't an embassy.

Even so you didn't answer the question. Would you be fine with foreign troops storming the U.S. if one of their embassies was under attack here? Because that's exactly what you are saying we should have done.

Ask who? There was no government to ask, it was a rogue terrorist state at the time created by Obama and HRC.

But obviously shh1313 would be hunky-dory with the Mexican armed forces swooping over the border to protect the Mexican ambassador.

What a waste of money they spent on Benghazi...more than on the hearings about Watergate and 9-1-1 put together.

Trey Gowdy Just Accidentally Admitted That The House Benghazi Report Is A Total Failure

"The resulting report was an 800-page long rehash of various Republican conspiracies and allegations. The facts that Gowdy pointed to don’t back up anything that Republicans have been claiming about Benghazi for years. There no evidence of criminal activity or a criminal conspiracy. Republicans conclude in their biased partisan opinion that things “should have been known,” but they present no real evidence to back up their claims."

Any student of the 23 year Clinton witch hunt knows that when they don't find anything, it proves that there is a cover up.
Surely there is some partisan hack lawyer or investigator that can keep the 23 year old Clinton scandal gravy train alive.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_Benghazi_attack

Even wikipedi says so ,
The sad truth is this is even being debated.

I will say one thing to all you people who think this is not a big deal.

You are a disgrace to America, if you think standing up and proctecting American citizens who are under attack and died while serving and working for the United States of America.

You're right that he is, so far, the biggest political loser out of all this. I find it hard to feel very sorry for him, though. He was an eager volunteer, after all.

Period.

Whatever the reasons -- they may explain it -- but they are no excuse for it.
Just like Bush and the Iraq invasion/occupation, right?
