Your straw man doesn't apply here.

Read the article.

I read the article, did you?

The neighbor closed the police because he couldn't "detain" the cat, and the cat remained in his backyard until the police arrived. Do you wonder why this might be? I'm guessing you don't really even care because it is irrelevant to your predetermined narrative.

Then you must not have understood it.

I watched the video, also.

The only one mentioning that the cat might be injured is the cop who shot him and who's now trying to squirm out of the tight spot he put himself in.

Nope. A cat that doesn't want to be caught, will be real hard to "detain."

You're not good at guessing.

Sticking to the facts always works better.

So the cop can walk right up to it and shoot it "point blank" and yet the neighbor couldn't get close enough to grab it? Yeah, that makes sense.

Creepy cop shoots a pet cat that didn't need to be shot.

You're twisting yourself into pretzels over this thing.

You related to the jerk cop or something?

Im just not one of the perpetually offended out looking for someone to hate; therefore, I think about this logically and question an obvious one-sided article with an agenda.

The fact that you eat what is spoon fed to you doesn't mean I'm related to the cop.

Tberin lies the answer to the previous post. I wasn't there, so I have no accurate read on this cats condition. (Sigh) it can be tough to call. My first instinct is a read on the critter. Don't have that luxury here. I've rescued injured cats, and put them down. But, it takes time, and cops don't spend that kind of time on a cat.

Even the local animal shelter and county control here won't respond to cat complaints, and I've NEVER seen an actual LEO show up for one. No offense...but what can I say,...city folks.

Oh, how interesting, apparently the neighbor who called 911 stated the cat was injured.

DA releases 911 call in cop's killing of Sugar the cat - The Morning Call

Yeah, I don't have to squirm because I keep an open mind.

Who is squirming now?

The vet who did the necropsy said there were no injuries on the cat other than the wound on its neck from gunshot.

Also, if you truly keep an open mind, you wouldn't immediately take a side and defend it to the death..lol

Me keep an open mind? ROFLMAO.

I have:
1. Only been asking questions and bringing up points.
2. Been one of the few people who have even suggested that it could have been right or wrong.

I ask questions and even state that it could be one or another and you call me out about an open mind?

Were you being ironic or do you seriously believe this? I really want to kno, because if keeping an open mind means making an absolute decision, off of a one-side article, like what Old Gringo is doing and not asking questions and not drawing a conclusion, like my posts, I have to seriously question yoor ability to think logically.
