The less muslims, the less violence and killings. Is that really hard to understand?!

Trump is using that to drum up support. He's playing to the fears of many americans and its working.

Then what do you suggest as an option to try to at least slow down terrorists from coming in from overseas?

Did you read my reply? MINIMIZE, not prevent.

There will continue to be people here who will be converted to join the ISIS cause. Let the FBI concentrate on them and not have to worry about thousands of migrants they've already stated they cannot vet, and who come from countries where killing homosexuals, beheading Muslims and Christians, and stoning women lead to victory laps.

The latest shooters dad was an immigrant Muslim. He is nutty and should not have been here. Stopping his kind years ago would have prevented Orlando massacre. Stop all immigration now. We have enough conflicting culture now. Hopefully the most sane one will survive.

Easy. Place a temporary ban on any non american traveling here from hostile countries in the middle east until we can get a better system in place to vet these people. You can't ban a religion as you can't prove one's religion but you can place a temporary ban on folks coming from certain regions.

Thanks, Skepticratic. You got it right. I'll only add that it will do something for domestic terror attacks because it will allow the FBI to solely look at people on their watch list, instead of having to worry about thousands more they have said they are unable to properly vet at this time.

Yeah, that policy worked great in Iraq!

How many right wing fundamentalist Preachers on Sunday morning preached that what those in that club got was the will of God. More than once politicians and preachers advocated praying for the death of the president , that should be banned.

It is also worth mentioning that your typical Radicalized American Muslim comes from a middle class or upper middle class family. IMO These are young people who spend their life in the US doing everything that is expected of them but as they open their eyes they see they are still not accepted by mainstream American society, so they take the path of what ever is the opposite of that. Most shooters are outsiders.
So it's the victims fault because society hasn't embraced the shooter enough for you?

I weep for your parents. I seriously do. You are one messed up person.

You do know there are Syrian Christians migrating, yes? Nobody is saying take them in and not the Muslims.

Does anyone actually pay attention to what he says?

Here's what he *actually* says:

When I am elected, I will suspend immigration from areas of the world when there is a proven history of terrorism against the United States, Europe or our allies, until we understand how to end these threats.

How do people get "ban Muslims" from that?
