I've taken buses all over the country with various political groups. I've never gotten paid - in fact, I always had to pay for the bus! Conservatives do this, too, by the way. Nothing "strange" about it.

In Leftist controlled Cities, they also get a Pass by the Mayor and Police & favorable Media.
They got the "free" stuff in Dallas, but did NOT get the Pass. The Rent-A-Thugs can be controlled when the City decides to protect the Citizens.
this is a rally in TX, not CA. I hope the protestors don't think they can hurl eggs and punches at Trump supporters thinking nothing bad will happen to them as a result.

Not so much Conservatives. Most Conservatives will speak their mind with being a employee! At the major protest issues Liberals have bused in protestors. Ferguson anyone???? Black Lives Matter? Anti Trump agitators???
Matter of fact those pay for protesting should be responsible for the damages they cause and the extra police presents to maintain order. That s why most city's have a permit for this to take care of the cost of maintaining order.
It would interesting to follow the money and find what groups is paying for protesting and the destruction of property and the violence in which this pursues.?
