Barking dog? If it's on a leash then no problem (except for the annoying noise). If it's not on a leash and moves toward me in a threating manner (growling, hackles up, etc.) then a little squirt of pepper spray on the snout and the dog will know who's the alpha male.
Most of the time they just want you to acknowledge them, get your attention.
It is bad behavior by a dog and can be corrected if the owners care to. You know the answer to that one.
I've never had a dog. And ironically, most of the time when I'm out jogging or walking, I'm trying to avoid everyone. One of my neighbors has a pit bull mix. The dog is always on a leash when walked, but whenever that dog sees me, it attempts to run after me. Why, I don't know.
If a dog has a good trainer, it can behave. Question, why are there owners who don't train their dogs better?
they will never make it right by her, this was such a tramatic experience for such a young helpless thing. I feel so bad for her....
God only knows how this will effect the rest of her life? And people unfortunately don't think about that, until it happens to them. This was a criminal and violent act...and it is high time parents be held accountable.
As you can see people are more interested in my dog comment than a raped little girl and these are men in our country. Women should feel so safe! No wonder this child has gotten little support......some men think it was just children playing.
But Muhammad is called the ‘perfect example of a man’ many times in the Qur’an.” You people are showing a pattern.

Well, you shouldn't have brought up your dog, or expressed any indignation about those men complaining about your dog's barking. Maybe those men could express indignation with you being uncomfortable with their mere presence.

Some people are just idiots and shouldn't have dogs. A hamster might be a better pet for these people.
Sounds like you have a problem with women feeling safe.......
Nope. I find it funny that a group of guys looking at you wrong, actually it was looking at your dog wrong, makes you scared.....while you're in a car. Hilarious.

Dogs bark for no reason at all, all the time. They don't need a reason.

You're the one who brought up the dog story. Therefore, I'd say you're more concerned with glaring men than women getting raped.

The dogs that just come at you without barking are the ones you have to worry about.
Answer, training a dog is hard work and it takes time. Repetition and rewards. Above all, socializing them properly when they are pups so they feel more comfortable in different situations.
Only to be relocated......the next town can only be so lucky! One needs to ask when did our colleges get involved in immigration??
