And on good authority so is Sweden, Austria, and Italy.

And most of Germany is now against an Angela Merkel chancellery.

They haven't even decided to have votes yet, though some are calling for them. Somehow that's "weighted toward exit from the EU"?

I read somewhere that the Netherlands trades more with the UK than the EU. Ideologically it is also closer to the UK than the EU. Ireland also trades more with the UK than the EU.

Things are going to be interesting, though not in the apocalyptic way many are predicting.

We see that right wing Trumpsters love the breakup of larger nations in favor of smaller ones because "self-determination". I guess Donald Trump is the new Jefferson Davis where smaller is better. I look forward to Texastan, Okistan, etc. Another poster was right, the one loving this is Putin.

Watching the markets tank in the UK might cause other countries to rethink any moves like this. The UK seems to have quite a mess on their hands, makes me happy that all we have to worry about is the Clinton vs Drumpf election.

Nigel Farage desperately wants the EU to collapse because if it goes on and the British economy collapses, he will be the one to blame.

The EU is going to make this divorce so painful that no other country will even think about it. The Brexit vote is not legally binding. I would not be surprised in the least if the UK reconsiders once the negotiations begin in earnest and the costs become evident.
