This is all Kabuki Theater. NOTHING they are yammering about would have made any difference to the Sandy Hook Shooting the Aurora Shooting, the San Bernadino Shooting OR the Orlando Shooting.

In ALL the cases, either Law Enforcement, neighbors and/or Family KNEW there was a problem ..... And did NOTHING. Taking away Constitutional Rights from Law Abiding Citizens is NOT the Answer. It will not pass, and if it were Crammed Down (like ObamaCare was), it would not Stand.

This is nothing more than a Razzle-Dazzle Kabuki Dance. Democrats should be embarrassed.
Leftists hate this Country and Nothing Embarasses them .... Even Burning, Looting & calling for Dead Cops.

They actually are.

You should be able to have a society that allows private gun ownership while still having common sense things like comprehensive background checks, not having high-capacity firearms, and not letting people considered dangerous enough not to be allowed on an airplane being allowed to buy guns.

The truth is that more guns amongst the general populace will not make this society safer; they will make it more dangerous. You may have a better chance of people at the bar or school having a firearm and using it to dispatch an attacker, but it will be far outweighed by the sheer quantitative factor of more people from all backgrounds with easy access to firearms walking around everywhere with loaded weapons. It just won't work the way it's advertised.

Living with constant fear and acceptance of death of our young people in schools and such for the sake of some obtuse allegiance to a very outmoded, fanatical reading of the Second Amendment is a fairly stupid tradeoff to make, but that's where we are.

Kabuki Theater is living in a country where mass shootings are so common people barely bat an eye at them any longer, and yet the people who control Congress don't think there's any problem whatsoever. Another mass shooting? Ah, well, c'est la vie. Moving right along, we have a 60th vote to defund Obamacare and a bill to prevent Harriet Tubman from being on the $20 bill to get to. You know, really important stuff...

This do-nothing Congress is the very epitome of Kabuki Theater.

So if we deny gay people the right to get married, force transsexuals to use the bathroom of their birth certificate, and give the rich $12 trillion dollars in tax cuts it will stop all the mass murders?

I saw Pocahontas joined the sit in.

She could stay on the floor forever. After all, she's used to sleeping in a teepee.

What a bunch of clowns.
You'd think they were out to save the world, not
impose meaningless restrictions on honest people.
