He speaks his mind, regardless of the audience. Or would you prefer he say anything to cater / pander to a given audience?

Great Britain has been a dominant world power for hundreds of years without the EU so they will be fine. They took their country back at a temporary cost of a lowered pound which is going to make their products more competitive on the world stage...it's all good. Bad day for globalist elitists though.

Trump is not President....it was Obama who had to say something and he was clueless just like Hillary when both of them support globalism and the E.U.....this was a slap in the face to them.

He spoke his mind by promoting Turnberry his property. So yes he spoke his mind. Which was to promote his personal investments. If you listen to his comments on the Brexits he basically said who knows if it was good or bad but maybe the devaluation of the pound will help tourism so they could visit Turnberry. Seriously, that was the crux of his comments.

Not at all. They just voiced their opinion that it would be in the best interest of Briton to remain in the EU union. No different from any other leader in Europe to do that.

Time and again Trump reminds me of when Newt Gingrich was running last time while promoting his book. He stopped in the middle of the campaign to take a vacation because he wasn't really running, he just wanted to sell a lot of his books. His supporters probably paid for his vacation.

Personally, I feel that any step away from globalism, is a step in the right direction.
True.

Why aren't people going crazy over Switzerland which isn't in the EU? Is it because they're doing so well on their own?

They can do both...London has been a financial center for over a century before the idea of an EU. They will keep their status as one of the top 2 financial centers in the world along with NYC. But yes, I think this is not good for the super wealthy but is for the average Brit.

Their strength in banking grew exponentially due to their role in the EU. That will end very soon. London will look like Enron multiplied.
