I haven't seen much media reporting on how Russia feels about Brexit, but they are the big winners IMO. Much of Russia's aggression has been a reaction to the EU actively gaining influence in Eastern Europe. Anything that hurts the EU helps Putin / Russia.

Okay. Why is it important to hurt Putin?

Maybe Scotland can now sell oil to Russia for dirt cheap price? Oh wait Russia has plenty of oil already.

Sliced Obama would be if you went out to the backyard, picked up a dog turd and then sliced it.

Russia's land grabs are reactions to the EU trying to get former Soviet states to join. The EU has sanctions against Russia. Anything that weakens the EU, even dissolves it, is a big win for Russia.

Keep in mind, the EU and the United States were financing and organizing the chaos in Ukraine, because they were actively trying to weaken Putin, and steal Ukraine for themselves.

Also, I think the UK leaving the EU will likely strengthen nationalist/independence movements across the world, including many within the Russian Federation and within its sphere of influence.

Its reverbations could start a tidal wave of nationalist sentiment which spreads across the world. Which has already come to America to a degree, in the form of Donald Trump.

Fomenting an increase in nationalistic sentiment across the world is a very bad idea. Nationalism has always led rapidly to war. A war in the age of atomic weapons is a way for the human race to commit suicide while taking most of the rest of the world with them. Insects love this idea.

This Briexit nonsense is just an attempt by the City of London to protect itself from Euro Union regulation and competition. Too bad just over half the fools in England fell for it. I expect Scotland and Northern Ireland will leave GB within a couple of years with Scotland rejoining the EU and Northern Ireland joining the Republic of Ireland to finally reunite the Irish. Then they will rejoin the EU and prosper while England slides into recession and third rate status. The City of London will prosper as the world's great money laundry and criminal bankers.
