Do we need background checks for knives? (death, states, gun owners)

According to the logic of tyrants and thugs...we would have background checks for guns, knives, rocks, fists, etc at some point.

The thugs only believe in "privileges" and do not believe in any form of human natural rights. (Of course mere human should only have rights that they personally would grant them...all hail the anti-human anti-freedom thugs...)

In the UK, you must be 18 to buy a knife and it doesn't help much.

So it would be better if guns were readily available in the UK so they could use guns instead of knives. Hey, then instead of a stab wounds that would heal they could compete with the US on murder.
