Gov. Jerry Brown signed six stringent gun-control measures Friday that will require people to turn in high-capacity magazines and mandate background checks for ammunition sales, as California Democrats seek to strengthen gun laws that are already among the strictest in the nation.
Brown vetoed five other bills, including a requirement to report lost or stolen weapons to authorities and a limit of one gun purchase per person per month.
The Democratic governor’s action is consistent with his mixed record on gun control. Some of the enacted bills duplicate provisions of a November ballot measure by Democratic Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom. Some of the vetoed measures also appear in Newsom’s initiative.
1. High cap mags a fine if caught .....whoop deeeee doooo
2. We already have a work around for the bullet button hahahahhahahahha Still off the assault weapons ban list ...suck it moon beam Faster than the old one too
3. 6 months to buy ARs. Does this idiot realize he's helping to PUT MORE "Assault Weapons" on the streets? People that don't even want one buy them because it's "now or never". I'm pretty sure if they would have quit with the threats there would be far fewer out there right now. Plus, if anyone but a hot headed lib gets in they will let it expire as per all the previous "bans" that didn't lower crime stats. All people need to do is buy a stripped lower and they are good to go. A whopping 50 bucks and they can build it whenever they feel like it or sell it out of State.
4. Ammo. Again, 6 months to hoard and buy reloading equipment. Thanks to Moonbeam I'll NEVER have to buy ammo again because I've been hoarding reloading stuff since Sandy Hook, the last time they threatened legal gun owners.
5. These guys are putting more ammo, more guns, creating more new shooting enthusiasts than the NRA. Bravo!
Most politicians NEVER think about the consequences of the bills they pass.
The 10% "luxury Tax" always come to mind.
Instead of bringing in the millions of dollars they predicted, it COST the gov't TENS of millions when the industries affected went out of business and THOUSANDS of previous tax payers were now out of work and LESS taxes were collected.
Republicans in California supported increased gun control. California Governor Ronald Reagan was present when the protesters arrived and later commented that he saw “no reason why on the street today a citizen should be carrying loaded weapons” and that guns were a “ridiculous way to solve problems that have to be solved among people of good will.”

This is true. I'm guessing some of the stores specializing in ARs will fold. Big shot and tactical come to mind. They didn't sell much ammo mostly high end ARs and hand guns. Sad.
What part of "Shall Not Be Infringed" do they not understand?

Lets complain about it on a forum instead of actually doing something about it!!
