If in fact the Clintons were trying to influence Lynch why a public meeting? Why not just use cell phones?
"If in fact the Clintons were trying to influence Lynch why a public meeting?"

"why a public meeting"

Do you people read ANYTHING BEFORE you spout off?

It WAS a SECRET meeting.

A nosy reporter DISCOVERED IT.

The FBI did NOT allow ANY pictures to be taken.

Contact your senators and congressman.

Call the White House.

Demand her immediate resignation.

Don't take no for an answer.

Keep us updated.

Methinks you slap your head too much.
Me thinks you don't slap YOUR head often enough...

A TV reporter saw BC walk across the tarmac to the AG's plane. At a later news conference, the reporter asked the AG what she and Clinton talked about, thereby informing the world of BC's meeting with the AG. This is a case of a reporter reporting, not of "someone who couldn't keep their mouth shut and spilled the beans."

What matters is that the meeting was private.

Facts --- The DOJ is investigating Hillary. The DOJ just went to court to ask for a 27-month delay for the State Department to turn over court-ordered emails re the (Bill, Hillary, Chelsea) Clinton Foundation. Lynch is the Attorney General, the top gun of the DOJ, FBI. Bill himself might be a target of her department's investigations.

But, hey, it's now called 'optics' rather than ethics for them both, but especially Lynch, to know how wrong that meeting was.

Hell no. She's too polite, but she should tell the conspiracy theory nut jobs to get a life.

How many taxpayer dollars are you willing to spend on this round of the Clintons' continuing witch hunt?
Quote:
The FBI budget for FY 2016 is about $8.5 billion, and the number of authorized special agents is 13,074. The number of agents involved in the investigation is not known, but there is a report that it is dozens but less than 50, so let's assume 40 agents. From the start of the inquiry around August 1, 2015 until today, there are 290 days. Dividing the FBI budget by the number of agents gives an annual cost per agent of $653,400. Dividing by 366 days (leap year) and multiplying by 40 agents times 290 days gives $20,708,000 total FBI cost. There are also millions more in costs from other agencies. The investigation may continue for some time, since there are some reports that the focus is on emails in this phase, which may be wrapping up soon. However, there may be an even longer investigation into Bill's paid speeches and the tangled Clinton Foundation finances involving some questionable dealings. The final tab will be much higher. If it moves to a prosecution phase, the high-priced Justice Department lawyers will get involved as well.

So many Clinton investigations and so, so little to show for the money and effort expended. When will the righties ever learn??

That is actually incorrect.

Bill's plane was due to take off 30 minutes prior to Lynch arriving. When it was still on the tarmac it aroused concern from the people who coordinate these things.

Someone at the airport got wind of the incident and tipped off the reporter, who then called several other people and got the story confirmed via a second source whose story matched the firsts very closely.

No. Too close to the end of Obama administration. Who wants to put up with the process of confirmation for AG for a lame duck president if they are only going to be out of a job in less than 6 months?

If we could go six months without any AG we would be in better shape than we are in now! Loretta isn't an AG; she is a bought and paid for politician. This Country needs an AG that works for the legal citizens of this Nation and that is not her agenda.
