But this is about Dallas cop killing, not about Sand hook, LGBT community. What is not helpful in this instance? I didn't even mention one word of BLM movement. All I care about is HOW to protect men and women in uniform!!!
It is about time people talk about how to protect men and women in blue.
When one or more intends to commit mass murder on any group, there is nothing reasonable than can be done to protect intended victims.
Prayers for Dallas and families and friends of the fallen officers
Very , very sad today, 5 Brothers in Blue are dead from evil fools, that even shot some peaceful black people too.
Prayers for all the officers families and friends, and justice for the killers, Death Penalty , no exceptions.
I realize the protest (although I don't agree with the protests) was peaceful, and those people were not disorderly, it only those that did the shooting.
Have to be vigilant on the street and attentive. God Protect our Police and Law Enforcement Community.
I've read this a dozen times and it's wrong every time.
This is what Chief Brown said.
"We can't get into the head of a person that would do something like this. We negotiated with this person that seemed lucid during the negotiation. He wanted to kill officers, and he expressed killing white people, he expressed killing white officers, he expressed anger for Black Lives Matter. None of that makes sense," Brown said. "None of that is a reason, a legitimate reason, to do harm to anyone. So the rest of it would just be speculating on what his motivations were. We just know what he said."
He said he wanted to kill white people. He wanted to kill white cops. He was supporting Black Lives Matter and anger "FOR" BLM.
Micah Xavier Johnson's Facebook page has been taken down now, but I saw some screen shots.
Full of Black Power
Then the reports I read were wrong. He was not affiliated with the group and used their protest as a cover. He was a U.S. Army Vet, so I wonder if PTSD is a factor here.

Why not?
Strengthening Trust Between Police and the Public in an Era of Increasing Transparency
Stop condemning police officers before all investigations are OVER
Police officers should wear bulletproof vests and bulletproof headgear
Report ALL cop killing threats
Something I can think of.
add: When cops die of gunshot wounds, the wounds are usually to the torso. Body armor has saved hundreds, maybe thousands, of officers' lives. There is always the risk of a head wound, and they do happen, but the choice to not wear a ballistic helmet is a trade-off.
Last but not the least, police officers of all races should not be singled out. The issue is not white officers vs. everybody else, It is police culture vs civilian culture.
Sounds like another case of an unstable individual with a gun.
I think so. It will be interesting to see if there were any accounts of PTSD in his past.

No, it wasn't. Every account I've read said the protest was peaceful and the protesters were taking fun pictures with the cops there. And there are reports that the protesters were helping subdue suspects.
I don't care if you don't like BLM, but stop spreading ignorant propaganda that only ignites the flames.
