Try to be a little more accurate. Police are killed with their own guns. So it is not zero.

It also still true cops ar more at risk than the general population. Y'all love to jack with the numbers. Astronauts don't die often because there are not many of them, not because its safe. Think police work is going to be a 50/50 chance with every suspect? No one would take the job. That's why you want to be very careful around them . For you its just once. For them its over and over again.
