Anyway, EVERYONE should listen to Ted Nugent and Charlie Daniels when it comes to politics. All of the other actors and musicians are morons, but those guys know what they are talking about.
With your reading comprehension, I certainly hope you don't make a habit of going to the polls.

They can request a ballot by mail and just mail in their vote.

I don't know if my ideas will be utilized, but we can always hope.
Been exactly like this in Oregon for years now. Most Oregonians love it. "Oregon has the most convenient voting system in the country. Since adopting vote-by-mail, Oregon consistently ranks as a national leader in voter turnout." Oregon Secretary of State: Voting in Oregon

I'm not aware of any state without early voting or mail-in ballots.

The vast majority of people who say voting is too inconvenient are lazy.

Kind of goes hand in hand with early voting.....get off your azz if it means anything to you on the day of voting! I only approve of this if one is in the military overseas........yet they seem to make it impossible for our military people to vote.

True. But some states will allow anyone who wants to to vote by mail and others make it more difficult.

So why are there long lines at polling places in many states? Are all of those folks in those lines Type A over-achievers or what?

I'm a natural couch potato, myself. Oregon segued gradually into a total vote-by-mail system. The first step was allowing anyone who wanted an absentee ballot to get one, not just having to prove I was going to be away on voting day. The next step was registering to be a permanent absentee voter. I SIGNED RIGHT UP!

The vote is more powerful than a firearm and you can get a free id to cast that vote, not so for firearms.

The elephant in the room is the media, formerly known as the press. The purpose of the press is to be the people's watchdog guarding them against their government.

It is clear, since voting began, that idiots do cast votes so the media acts as the big brother to clarify the issues and shine bright light in dark corners. Unfortunately the press has become the government's lapdog and has left the people to stumble around in darkness.

That's why a legislator can say, 'we have to pass it to find out what is in it' and still retain her office. When we had a free press, that person's spokesman would have told us 'Nancy is resting comfortably, will leave office early to spend more time with her family'.

A free press would have wondered out loud what the US president meant when he told Medvedev to tell Putin, "I'll have more latitude after the election.

Mebbe next time, they'll glance up from their phones, and go and vote. Too late now...... never mind eh? Better luck next time.
They'll demand a voting booth in their safe spaces.

I have used the mail in- but be surprised how many do NOT trust it.

I do know being from South Fl they found 2 different vans full of ballots after the fact- after all that chad counting and recounting-- really - the vans were rentals or something and not normally used... and pc problems etc- IT still NOT nice in big cities.
and rural, well you have a box in town where they train picks up once a month yea-- sure. then the poor soldiers never get their in on time-
We should be ashamed the way we handle the voting I'm sorry- and a machine goes down and you maintain the same schedule-- wrong!!! its pathetic

I suspect if Trump beats Hillary we'll hear similar demands in this country.

That's partly true.... the Left in the US has no problem with old people voting as long as they're so old that they're dead. If you're dead they're happy to have your vote.
