The naivete and gullibility of people buying into the conspiracy theories (including Trump) makes me truly fear for the ignorance in this country ruining it.

My god--some fools will believe anything this nutjob doles out, and swallow it whole.

"...Shortly after the killing, Redditors and social media users were pursuing a “lead” saying that Rich was enroute that fateful morning, apparently intending to speak to special agents about an “ongoing court case” possibly involving the Clinton family.

Further “investigation” dug up no such court case and there is no evidence whatsoever that Rich, who did voter outreach work for the DNC, had any knowledge of alleged Clinton misdeeds..."

Uh--helloooo conspiracists!

Pray tell, why wouldn't the Clintons just have Trump taken out? Why deal with small fry? They are so powerful, why put up with this guy?

Geez, no wonder Putin plans to manipulate the election--he sees a sucker born every minute.

You "knew immediately"? You should join the force! Here's the problem with your supposition:

He ALSO lived in DC, and if you knew that was a bad place to be in, so would he.

Nothing was taken from him. If he was beaten and shot due to a robbery, then why didn't they actually take anything from him?

You can't look down on those who say: "Something isn't right here" when the story is full of holes clearly showing that "something isn't right here" with the "explanations".

That was not a robbery. As someone else stated, that was personal.

One more thing to chew on: The story says he was in that area...have we not yet learned that media takes its marching orders from corrupt leaders? It's been fricken proven in those email leaks. So...was he, really, walking in a dangerous area, an area known to be dangerous by anyone living in the DC area...where he also lived? Was that really where he was?

Who do you believe anymore? Can any media be believed? They've been caught numerous times in the past lying, the emails reveal that the corrupt leaders will tell them what to say, and if they don't stay in line, they will be addressed. None of that is "conspiracy"....so why do you take any story at face value and never question?

LOL! Anyway, let them have their conspiracy. The future is not looking good for them and they know it. It's better to lose yourself in a world of fantasy than face reality I suppose.

Don't hit them with a bunch of logic. They don't like that. Besides, it's much more entertaining to watch them get all giddy when a new faux conspiracy presents itself. Some of the stuff they come up with is just priceless!

The guy was living in an area that was once a low income inner city neighborhood ("hood" if you will) that is now rapidly gentrifying. I respect the young gentrifiers moving into these neighborhoods but it's not something I would do. That particular neighborhood has some nearby trouble spots including a construction zone that at night is a hangout for druggies and lowlifes. The police think that some lowlife or crackhead came out the construction site and killed the DNC staffer in a robbery gone bad. A lot of robberies end up with nothing stolen if the robber gets spooked by something or the victim fights back. I still believe this is the more likely scenario than some kind of conspiracy or political assassination. But hopefully they'll catch the scumbag soon and solve this case.

Amen friend! but feel bad all the same that this staffer had to die, hope the people involved pay the price.

We hear all too often what has happened to people who testify against the Clinton's.

This party does cause Chaos.
