You make decent points, but you fail to understand the psychology of a person with ZERO hope, distrust of the system, and no positive encouragement for generations. Add to that a 24/7 level of stress due to having NO future, feeling discriminated and you end up with a person that basically has NOTHING to lose---------a person whose only avenue to gain some recognition is crime.
People who believe and wallow in perpetual victim hood will always be victims.
End all welfare. Hunger is a powerful motivator to get a job.

That's not strictly a racial problem. That's a class issue.
Blacks have little power and remain victims of their history in the US.
What can be done?
Electing black leaders does not do the job. What are the alternatives. More of the same?
Your first mistake was saying a black leader was elected. If I'm not mistaken, obama was elected president, and there is nothing about that man that would qualify him as a leader.
obama had been nothing but a great divider of the races and has done nothing for blacks.
The blacks who wish to succeed have done so, skin color doesn't hold one back, attitude does.
No group of people on this planet have historically been more prejudiced against, sexually tortured, enslaved, threatened, and held back than women.
I have experienced prejudice, humiliation, fear, and inequality from men.
So what?
In balance, most of my best promoters, supporters, and helpers in life have also been men.
My husband of thirty two years is my best friend and has supported every one of my endeavors even the failures.
Stop whining about racism. It will never totally go away. For every supposed racist moment you have experienced from a white person, I guarantee the majority of your experiences with white people were not racist .
The vast majority of whites are NOT racist. But they are getting fed up with all the race baiting and lack of truthful introspection on what is really holding many blacks back.
As a woman, I was also thinking the EXACT same thing. And even though we're now in the 21st century, my daughters, who have degrees in and work in male-dominated fields, face sexism and discrimination every single day. Does that make them sit back and whine, "Poor me... I'm oppressed?" HELL no!!! They work their butts off, make NO excuses, and that has earned them the respect and support of all but the most staunchly and stubbornly sexist males with whom they work.

Your daughters are not black. They do not live in the inner city or descend from slaves.
Remove the social welfare crutches on which they're disproportionately and overly dependent. Remember the lefty academia meme I posted, publish or perish? Same thing... support oneself and one's dependents or perish.
