This is it. The symbol of American idiocy. It's NEVER the fault of the individual. NEVER. It's always someone else's fault.
Threaten a cop and get shot? Cops fault.
Eat 25 McDonald's burgers and get fat? McDonald's fault.
Undisciplined brat child doesn't learn? Teachers fault.
Walk into 5pm highway traffic and get hit by car while staring at a video game screen???? GAMES FAULT.
I can't take it. America is never gonna recover from this wave of "nothing is my fault-ism". Where did this come from?????

Go eat at a restaurant where kids are nearby. Watch what happens when a kid drops silverware or food on the floor. Bet you 99% the parent(s) will pass the buck and say "oh don't worry about it the server will get it". This culture of passing the buck is learned early in a child's life. There's your sign
I'm not sure the wisdom of holding people accountable for things they say when they have just experienced their kid getting hit by a car.
That said, this seems to be the fault of an ignorant driver (as the daughter notes) and not the game but those who created the game hasn't thought it through very well.

An ignorant driver???? She was walking on a highway at rush hour!!
I feel like this is blown out of proportion. Yeah, she's blaming the game which makes no sense, but she's probably just a little riled up about it. It'll pass. Not saying the culture of "blame everyone else" isn't a thing. It is. Both candidates from the two major parties do it all the time.
But seriously, the girl's fine. She was crossing the street, thought she'd make it, and a car, that I'm assuming slowed down, bumped her. She suffered some bruising but nothing terribly damaging happened. She's a kid. Let kids be kids, mom.
