Spent 12 years in Catholic school. Oh, they did not just give "Bible Study" but the history of Christian Religion as well. Horrified me what was done in the past in the name of Christianity. People who live in Glass Houses should not throw Stones.

Yes, liberals give Islam a pass and bring up abortion bombings that happened decades ago when talking about Christianity. But it's not a hatred of Christians. They only bring up the bad things Christians have done to say that Muslims aren't the only ones who have bad apples. What they leave out is a little important, which is that while what they are saying is 100% true, Islam does seem to have the most bad apples at the moment. But the left's love of Islam is because they're a minority. I know Jesus says Christians would be rejected in the Bible so you have to go to insane conspiracies to justify this view, while Christians remain the clear majority in this country, have places of worship on every other street corner in some towns, have their own businesses and schools, and even have a major party that constantly talks about how great they are.

Also , I think the left including many feminists are innately terrified of Islam and the men in it. Perhaps more like a nightmare for many liberal feminists, a living nightmare that is before their very eyes. They can't conceive how "bad", men can be in the form of male adherents of Islam. There is no way possible to even broach the topic as they are reminded of the fate of the women and girls in the lands that practice the Islamic religion.
So, in ways they submit willingly to the notion that the men of this faith are not so bad if they know others support them. They are just lacking in love a bit. If Jihadi John knew there were women who loved him , he might just put down the machete and start a little organic meat shop for himself.
