I agree with you. Zimmerman initiated the interaction that led to Trayvon's death. There was a strong case for Manslaughter but the prosecution REFUSED to pursue that route. They presented NO case for Manslaughter they made it clear that wanted a conviction for MURDER which was impossible to prove. I suspect they knew there would be an acquittal because what they really wanted was a "movement" not justice in this case.

If one wanted to go back and find it you would see where I condemned the prosecutor over her actions.
I believe Zimmerman contributed to Martin's death but I did not believe it to be murder.
Those who were upset at him walking should have been as mad at the prosecutor as anyone.

As for doing with fewer cops? I'm okay with that, in fact let's follow that one BLM lady's idea and get rid of all of them! I'm fine with going back to the lawless wild west days where things were settled right then and there by the aggrieved parties, especially with today's weapons and tech!
