It started with President Obama telling Republicans, "to get in the back seat", rather than offering shotgun!

Making fun of Christians with this; some small town Americans "cling" to guns and religion. Along, with calling some Americans "teabaggers" complete insult!

You can thank President Obama for inviting division, rather than unity.

All Americans don't need a President who looks down on them, they need a President who stands up for them.

Did you just say that with a straight face? Did it hurt?

Obama will never be the man or the president Reagan was. Ever.

Make no mistake....even if Trump wins....there will be a huge decade long crime wave coming. The past 8 years of liberalism planted that seed.

This election decides how we'll respond to it and whether the wave ends at 10 years or extend to 20 or 30.

Obama and the Lawless Left planted the seed.
Already planting excuses for Trump.

Yeah, I don't buy this excuse, you are just looking to blame something on Obama that has nothing to do with him. Also, Reagan didn't inherit a crime wave, that crime wave happened during his presidency.

Guess you are unfamiliar with what was going on in the country during Reagan's term.....

(For the sake of the point I'm trying to make, I will agree with the above.)

So why are we still trying to divide ourselves rather than unite? Does trying to antagonize the "other side" help in any way? The President doesn't control what we say or how we act, so why don't we change things starting with ourselves?

("We" refers to the collective, not specifically you and myself, if that wasn't obvious)

Easily verifiable fact: homicide rate has been declining steadily since about 1991 and up to and including 2014:

Murder Rates Nationally and By State | Death Penalty Information Center

Liberals or conservatives seem to have no direct relationship to that.

You lefties wanted this. Our most vulnerable are now even more vulnerable. Thugs no longer fear cops. In fact...they're emboldened. This will be Obamas lasting legacy. Racial division, riots, cop deaths and the empowerment of thugs leading to the next great crime wave like the 1980s and early 90s.

The most vulnerable, use to be armed. Just in case. It is forbidden today.

There are people who see Yakuza every time they see an Asian person with tattoos, MS-13 if a Hispanic person rings their door bell selling GS cookies, and Mafia whenever an Italian walks by wearing pinstripes.

BTW, you do understand that crime has been falling for what - about 30 years? Oh, and it was the leftist President Clinton who put an extra 100,000 cops on the streets.
But didn't pay for them.

PRESIDENT CLINTON ANNOUNCES NEW CRIME BILL GRANTS
TO PUT POLICE OFFICERS ON THE BEAT

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Just a dozen days after money became
available, President Clinton today announced the first round of
police hiring grants under the new crime bill, an important step
toward his goal of putting 100,000 police on America's streets.

More than $200 million in grants were awarded to communities in
all 50 states and Puerto Rico, including 332 police departments,
46 sheriffs' departments, six Indian tribal groups, and several
other law enforcement agencies. The crime bill authorizes money
to increase the number of police in America by twenty percent.

.

The administration granted (actually gave) the money for the COPS program. The communities and the police departments themselves decided to spend some of the money on other things. Clinton's fault? No! He granted the money, some of them decided to buy magic beans with the grants.

USATODAY.com - 10 years and $10B later, COPS drawing scrutiny
The audits, conducted by the Justice Department's inspector general and reviewed by USA TODAY, allege that some police agencies wrongly used the hiring grants to cover routine expenses at a time when local budgets were tightening.
