If they really want to make a statement they should set themselves on fire.

Burning it protests against the government, which if I recall correctly has Obama (whom these people love) at the helm.

There are many ways to protest, but desecrating the symbol of our freedom (including their own) is shameful.
Many men and women have fought for the freedom to protest and do things like burning the flag in protest. One doesn't protect this country with the mindset that they are only protecting the parts they like and agree with.

IMO, the court was wrong in their decision to allow it.

The Constitution is VERY CLEAR, "FREEDOM OF SPEECH".

It says NOTHING about "freedom of expression".

Freedom of expression was made up by the court.

Speach is a VOCALIZING WORDS.

Expression is an action. Burning the flag is an ACTION. Hell you don't have to say a word.

Ah, so may we assume that you were against the ruling in the Court decision of Citizens United? After all, it involved 'money', not vocalizing words.

You want to burn the flag, go ahead and try. Just don't be surprised if you get your a$$ whupped by people who are offended by your actions.

It would have been great if one of them would have went up in flames instead of the flag.

We agree on that point.

I think this is spot on.

It is an assbackwards logic at best that calls burning of the flag "free speech".

The cross burning KKK was created by Democrats.

So your party owns both... the KKK and the flag burning miscreants.

Congratulations.
