Heh right?

Subsidies are the type of things you want for very vital things like energy, water, and food. Do we need to do better? Absolutely, but no need to throw the baby out with the bath water.

I don't want politicians running "vital things".

I prefer to be able to vote out my political overlords instead of relying on outspending my corporate overlords.

How you justify your position is beyond me. I just picture you in a very remote location complaining about things that hardly effect you.

Government in this nation was not formed to tax others, to provide for those that cannot provide for themselves. This nation was formed by the laws and liberties of nature. Not laws of men.

This nation got strong quick, because only the strong survived.

When you say subsidy, are you specifically talking about tax breaks or what?

I'll tell you what, tell us which oil companies are netting money from the government.

Better yet, get the government totally out of the energy business. Let the market determine when solar and wind energy are ready.

Tax payers should NEVER subsidize businesses. The government should NEVER pick winners and losers.

No we don't. Government should not subsidize anything. Energy should cost whatever it is worth. Milk should cost whatever it is worth.

We don't need government bureaucrats in their ivory towers deciding what products are worth.

How about three?

Shell, ExxonMobil and Marathon Petroleum

EDIT: Here is a source from the government about fossil fuel subsidies

Like the Chinese do? Their country is incredibly polluted because the "market" does not want to pay for keeping it clean. I am all for capitalism but not unfettered capitalism. Sometimes there are things more important than making money and not destroying the planet I count as one of those.

Perhaps but if you really believe that go live in Honduras, Nepal or Nigeria where nothing is subsidized. Roads are dirt, schooling ends when you are 10 or so, medical care is awful, water is undrinkable, childhood death rate is high, no industries, and no jobs, because there is no infrastructure because the government does not pay for anything. The USA is a great country exactly because the government provides these basic services and subsidies. It would be another third world country otherwise.
