She came up quite a bit in the 2004 Presidential race and I was wondering what folks thought of her.
If you like her, say why.
If you don't, say why.
I personally think she is a great actress (that movie she did with J-Lo was great), and her heart was in the right place with the protests in Vietnam... however the sitting in the gun turret was incredibly stupid

Any woman with a courageous voice gets my immediate respect. In my view a woman who can speak her mind is a complete woman just as a man who opens his heart is a complete man. Jane speaks the truth from her heart, admits her mistakes but wisely doesn't dwell on them, offers intelligence and fearless wisdom gained from life experience, and is a shining example of a (nearly) fully realized human being. Only men threatened by outspoken women hate her. If she were a guy, she'd have been forgiven decades ago by the more mature men out there, but that is still a minority.
No, she would not have been forgiven decades ago. Guy or gal, makes no difference. She committed treason, that is not forgivable.
I have a very good friend that the fingers on both hands bend backwards. They're permanently stuck there. Matter of fact, he has to go to the VA to get his fingernails clipped before they grow into the back of his hands. Tell him that she meant well, that her heart was in the right place. Yeah, she moved on, her hands still work.
I am not defending 'Hanoi Jane'; just I keep having the prickling feeling that there is more than meets the eye.
She's a transformer?
I don't care for her. Cindy Sheehan is right up there with her.
