No. Debbie was first demoted to 'honorary chairman', a no-pay, do-nothing position, like and 'honorary fireman'.
And then later the same day, she lost even that. Along with every other position she held, honorary or not, in the Democratic party.

She's gone, gone, gone. And nobody wants to see her back again.

Expect to see more firings within the staff to follow after the convention. And since Bernie said he was actively supporting her primary rival, Tim Canova, she's probably going to lose her House seat as well.

The week after Canova announced he was running, he received $1.7 million in small donations from all 50 states. As a complete unknown. That's how unpopular Debbie is in the party.

As a talking point, Debbie is as dead as a dead horse can get.

Downtown Debbie's days in the DNC were numbered before the convention began. She was stripped of all authority weeks ago, and was going to be fired after the convention. As a way to assuage the Sanders followers, who were still very angry Monday, so angry she was driven out of an early morning meeting, the decision was made to just kick her out a week early and very publicly. Unusual, but not without precedent in either party.

And it worked. There will be a few diehard Sanders supporters who will sit this one out, but by Monday evening, the majority of them were accepting his defeat. The fact is, Sanders got almost all of his agenda incorporated into the platform over 3 weeks ago, and without Debbie as a focus of lingering anger, his folks came to grips with the inevitable.

Now, a day later, all Bernie's delegates voted for Clinton unanimously. She is now the first woman to be nominated by a major party for President in history. And when her (and my) grandmother was born, women were forbidden to vote in our national elections. Two old ladies are in Philadelphia right now, who can remember when women were afforded suffrage.

So, once more, the Democratic party makes history. For the second time in a row.

As to the racist charge; sorry buddy. That dog won't hunt. The faces in the convention are in all shades, and they are the face of the party. The face of America is no longer white alone when it comes to politics.

And your guy is Priebus, with a b, not Premius. You didn't even come close to spelling his name correctly.

As a Democrat, I find your notion that Trump and Priebus would be counted as traitors as appalling.

No person of any party who runs for office in this nation should be thought a traitor by anyone. Like them or not, they are all doing a critically important function of democracy.

You need to wire your head on straighter, son. That just ain't right at all.

Hardly a surprise, just another example of the massive media bias towards the left. If the "news" media were actually impartial and did a fair job of reporting the news the democrats would never win another presidential election. Even with overwhelming bias they can barely scrape over 50%.

Yet we'll be paying her a 6 figure pension for the rest of her life, and she'll still garner 5 figure speaking engagements on the progressive cheer leader circuit. Sad times for the Deb.
