Here's the list of people who got set free. Im pretty critical of Barack, but in this case, i think he at least did a good job letting some of the people out that shouldn't have been in there that long, now, i didn't go over the list so i can't comment on which ones were let out that shouldn't be, but nobody ought to be serving a life sentence because they got caught smoking some crack or something similar.

Barack Obama shortens terms for 214 prisoners; 67 had life sentence | Daily Mail Online

Most of those people probably shouldn't have been incarcerated in the first place - forget about their sentences being too long.

Obama has let more people out of jail than the last 9 Presidents combined. I'm sure they were very deserving of his pardons.

Oh no...those supporting the Law and Order candidate might have a stroke. I'm going to guess that most of these people have non-violent drug convictions...so meh.

duplicate thread.

Obama commutes sentences of 214 federal prisoners, including...

Many of these "non violent offenders" committed their crime while in possession of a firearm.

Crimes committed with firearms ought to carry stiff sentences, but instead lets just make more "laws" that make it harder for the law abiding to buy firearms.
