In their mind, buyback<>ban. Look the characters. Is the word "buyback" the same as "ban"? No, so nobody is coming for your guns. I think that's how they think. As long as it's not an outright confiscation and ban or as long as the regulation doesn't say the word "confiscation" or "ban", it is not a ban.

Just have to love the buzz words

Sensible gun laws
Common sense gun laws

All of which are neither. Oh and speaking of common sense, or lack of ...the POTUS is still trying

My "favorite" is when they want yet another "law" after hundreds of laws already exists, they say it is a good "first step", as if it was virgin legislative territory.

If that doesn't, how does a sex offender registry work differently?
A hypothetical gun registry would keep track of good people with no criminal record who are not a threat to society.

A sex offender registry keeps track of bad people with disgusting criminal records who pose a threat to society.

Mandatory gun buyback <> ban.

Also it's BUYBACK not "take away". "Mandatory buyback" means if you don't want to sell, they will send in the SWAT team. "Take away" means they send in the SWAT team immediately. See the difference?

Right wing gun nuts are just crazy thinking the government will take their guns.
Withhold tax return refunds. Ya, those nutty gun nuts. Do you even know how bans work?

For one, I can look up where they live in my area. Do you even know how a SO registry works?

It's only confiscated if you don't turn it in. You mean like that? Get caught with it and it's a fairly big deal.

Life altering as a matter of fact.

You'll be paying for your own "buyback". Sounds like a lose-lose-lose-lose situation with the only "win" being by the ruling masters in DC.
