So unemployment is low enough that people aren't clamoring for these service jobs?

Nice work, Obama! Thanks for bringing the economy back from the brink!

He addressed it with another lie. There are plenty of Americans to fill those jobs. They probably just aren't as cheap as the labor he wants to use.

"...But officials at a career services agency in the area say that Trump’s claims are untrue. One such official told BuzzFeed that he had “hundreds of people in our database that would qualify for a lot of those hospitality jobs” and a database with the names of 1,327 Palm Beach County residents looking for such positions..."

Exactly. I thought the low unemployment rate was a myth perpetuated by Democrats? Which is it? President Obama has done such a good job that Trump is forced to hire foreign workers because the entire state of Florida cannot find 78 employees for Trump or Trump is lying when he says he will put American workers first?

What a great question! Trump supporters, can you answer it?

(And "But...but...but...Hillary!" is not an answer. )

He claims there are no workers available in Palm Beach County, in season.
Guess it never dawned on him to look to surrounding counties.

I presume the real reason is that the typical H1B visa worker is a better and more productive worker than his/ her US counterpart.

Once the season is over, Trump has no obligation as to what becomes of the seasonal worker who remains, with family, in the US. The children attend public schools, are fed and recieve necessary healthcare on the public dime. Anchor babies are created and born on the public dime. Nothing precludes employers from hiring undocumented workers.

Then Trump turns around and blames Obama, when convenient.

That in a country of 315 million, a Trump vs Hillary ticket says more about the American people than anything about the candidates.

Well then, if it's that dire, surely the answer would be to issue work visas to the undocumented people already here so they can fill those jobs legally, pay taxes and become known, so it won't be necessary to bring in more people who are likely to become undocumented anyway.

Because they don't want to pay a decent wage. Massachusetts is not a low cost of living state, $9.00 per hour really doesn't support one.

They want cheap labor and non-union labor. I was under the impression that is what many Trump supporters are complaining about. Cheap labor which is 'undercutting' American workers. Can't have it both ways.

That solution makes too much sense, and the GOP base would never support anything having to do with making undocumented workers legal.

They want them punished--even if it hurts the economy. It is called 'cutting off your nose to spite your face.'

A comment my friends who are Democrats will like: Trump is a liar and a hypocrite.

A comment my friends who are Republicans are coming to realize: Trump is a secret Democrat who is trolling their party.
